Inmotion Technologies, a prominent member of Italy-based ZAPI GROUP, has unveiled two new products that promise to reshape the electrification of commercial and industrial vehicles: the third-generation DCC3 DC-DC converter and the ACH3 high-voltage inverter. Developed to meet heavy-load purposes in electric and hybrid cars, the parts indicate the further involvement of Inmotion in the development of sustainable transportation in construction, utility, and industrial segments.

The DCC3 is a small, durable converter that is used to help a wide profile of auxiliary systems in electrified fleets. It also effectively transforms a high input voltage that comes in between 250 V and 900 V to a consistent 12 V or 24 V output and has a maximum ability of 10 kW. The converter helps with power-demanding auxiliary applications on electric and hybrid industrial vehicles, including HVAC systems, lighting, and control electronics. Inmotion has framed the DCC3 in such a way that it is a versatile system that accommodates a wide scope of field environments, and prototyping takes place immediately, with mass production planned later at the end of 2025.

In combination with the converter, the ACH3 is a future-proof high-voltage inverter, which is optimized in terms of efficiency and safety. Supported with capabilities to support both the current rating between 30 A and over 600 A, designed with a bus voltage up to 900 V, and is software architected with integration of cybersecurity and functional safety. Inmotion states that the inverter exhibits an exceptional maximum efficiency of 99%, which solves one of the most persistent issues in the electric vehicle industry.

Responsibility to the environment also plays an important role at the ACH3, and Sustainable sourcing and production lie at its core. All components are sourced within the European continent, and the final assembly is done in Sweden with all the benefits of quality and traceability. Moreover, whether it is mining equipment in rugged landscapes or utility vehicles around tight cityscapes, the demand for using stable and scalable electric powertrains is growing fast.

The strategic capability demonstrated in Inmotion's new product line is due to its full-systems solutions provider's ability to support the most challenging electrification projects anywhere in the world. The combined emphasis on performance and sustainability also enhances the competitive advantage of Inmotion in the global market and aligns the offered value with similar environmentally-friendly OEMs.
