Amazon Expands into Healthcare with Home Diagnostics Service in India

Amazon India has introduced Amazon Diagnostics, a new home health test solution that transforms India's healthcare experience. The service is already present in six major cities across India, including Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. They offer the clients to order a lab test, monitor their sample collection activities, and get digital results in only six hours through the Amazon app. Additionally to the speed, Amazon Diagnostics offers convenience, accuracy, and reliability due to doorstep sample collection in less than an hour.

Amazon Diagnostics was created in collaboration with Orange Health Labs, one of India's leading and well-rated diagnostic companies. This is the newest extension of the greater Amazon Medical, which currently includes Amazon Pharmacy and Amazon Clinic. The step is that Amazon wants to create an integrated, end-to-end digital healthcare ecosystem that millions of Indians use to consult with doctors and now even do diagnostic tests without having to leave their homes. Being the next step in the Amazon Medical initiative, which is positioned as a wider Amazon offering, Diagnostics is the finishing touch to Amazon in healthcare. Customers are now able to answer a few questions on Amazon Clinic, consult with licensed doctors, receive prescriptions, have them shipped via Amazon Pharmacy, and finish the diagnostic tests with Amazon Diagnostics, all within the same place.
