DuPont Simplifies Water Filtration Systems

DuPont has launched a new type of ultrafiltration product called Inge™ ultrafiltration modules with an integrated pre-filter. This new system is designed to make water filtration easier and more efficient, as per the published report. Moreover, normally, water treatment systems use two separate steps. First, a pre-filter removes dirt and larger particles. Then, the ultrafiltration process cleans the water further. But in this new DuPont system, both steps are combined into one single module. This means everything happens in one unit instead of using separate equipment.

According to Towards Chemicals And Materials Analytics and Consulting, the global ultrafiltration market size was estimated at USD 5.95 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 6.51 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 14.68 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 9.45% from 2026 to 2035 due to the increasing need for clean water.

Furthermore, because of this design, the system helps reduce the space needed for installation. It also lowers costs for building and operating the plant. So, companies and water treatment plants can save both money and space. Also, the company explains that the new modules still use the same membrane materials and keep the same quality standards as their earlier products. So, performance and safety remain reliable, especially for drinking water use.

Also, this new product is made to make water cleaning systems smaller, cheaper, easier, and more efficient, while still giving safe and high-quality water.
