Solis Launches Smart Home Energy Storage Systems for Better Control and Savings
Power Your Home, Store Energy Smartly
In March 2026, Solis introduced a new range of home energy storage systems, marking an important step for the company. Also, the previously famous for solar inverters, Solis is now moving into complete solar and battery solutions, allowing homeowners to not only generate electricity but also store it safely and efficiently. This is a big deal because it gives ordinary homes more control over their energy use and helps save money on electricity bills in the current period.
The new battery lineup is designed to suit different household needs. There is a small, compact option called IntelliHome for basic energy storage with a capacity of 5-16 kWh, perfect for running lights and small appliances when the sunlight is lower. For larger homes or people who want more power, Solis offers a modular system called FlexHome with 5 to 40 kWh capacity, stackable batteries that can be combined to create bigger systems. There’s even a high-voltage called FlexAIO with a capacity of 15 to 40 kWh, an all-in-one option for homes that need heavy-duty energy storage. All these systems use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology, which is safer, lasts longer, and handles thousands of charge cycles without losing efficiency.
Moreover, the unique feature of these batteries is their flexibility and easy expansion. Homeowners can start with a smaller unit and add more later if their energy needs grow. The systems also include smart battery management that optimizes charging and discharging, keeping the batteries safe and extending their lifespan. This makes it much easier for people to use solar energy effectively, even during power outages or at night.
According to Towards Chem&Materials, the lithium iron phosphate powder market size accounted for USD 21.09 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 24.14 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 81.33 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 14.45% from 2026 to 2035, due to greater demand for energy efficiency in recent years.
Smart Batteries, Smarter Energy Management
Also, the Solis is designing these batteries to work seamlessly with their inverters and smart controllers. This integrated approach makes installation simpler and ensures the system runs efficiently. Unlike many generic batteries, these products are built to last, handle real-world usage, and adapt to the home’s changing energy requirements.
The Solis’ new residential battery systems give homeowners more independence, better control, and long-term reliability. Whether someone has a small apartment or a large house, the portfolio provides safe, flexible, and intelligent solutions to store solar energy, reduce electricity bills, and prepare for a future where self-generated energy plays a bigger role in daily life.
