As part of a historic move to revamp the cardiac care system in India, OMRON Healthcare, a global leader in home health monitoring, has partnered with Tricog Health, a leading Bengaluru-based company specializing in cardiac AI solutions. They introduce a next-gen connected healthcare platform, KeeboHealth. This ambitious project combines real-time monitoring, artificial intelligence (AI)-based analysis, and customized healthcare interventions to identify and prevent heart-related diseases before they progress. Since cardiovascular diseases are becoming a growing problem in population health in India, the KeeboHealth platform is one of the keys to mitigating the number of hospitalizations, as well as facilitating early identification and treatment in diverse populations.
KeeboHealth combines a suite of OMRON connected home devices, such as ECG-enabled blood pressure monitors, smart scales, and other Internet of Things health devices, with Tricog's proprietary AI engine, which constantly analyzes patient vitals to deliver insights to care professionals. As soon as any strange patterns or warning signs are identified, alerts are immediately updated to healthcare professionals so that they can intervene in real-time.
This offensive strategy aligns with OMRON's global mission to eliminate cardiovascular disease, aiming for zero cardiovascular events, with a greater focus on prevention rather than cure. Another advantage of the platform is that it enables convenient home-hospital connections by providing specialized cardiac care in even the most remote areas, with the availability of cardiologists or tertiary hospitals. Furthermore, as lifestyle diseases increase and the number of heart disease cases weighs heavily on India, this form of innovation is increasingly important, this growing market.
Ayumu Okada, President & CEO, OMRON Healthcare, emphasized the company’s long-term vision
“With KeeboHealth, we are connecting homes to hospitals, enabling early detection and timely interventions. This is a major step towards our ‘Going for Zero’ vision of eliminating heart attacks and strokes.”
Dr. Charit Bhograj, CEO & Founder, Tricog Health, echoed this sentiment, stating
“KeeboHealth is more than just a platform; it’s a promise. A promise of timely, tailored interventions, even in regions with limited specialist access. This partnership ensures that prevention is no longer an afterthought but a core healthcare strategy.”
