The New York-based cloud monitoring and security company known as Datadog has launched a series of new tools that help various businesses detect and solve threats related to the security of the Artificial Intelligence system they are working on. These tools were launched by Datadog at its annual two-day flagship event of 2025 on the opening day of the DASH conference. To ensure businesses can safely adopt leading technologies, Datadog sought a solution to offer such tools or systems that protect the business' system.

Datadog Unveils AI

AI is rapidly evolving and taking center stage while developing and operating software. The company decided to capitalize on this and aimed at enhancing observability, productivity of developers, and security at the same time in the AI systems of enterprises. One of the most attractive parts of this launch was the introduction of “Bits AI”.

Bits AI is a suite of intelligent AI agents specially designed to perform key tasks automatically across security operations, SRE (site reliability engineering), and software development. These agents will be immensely helpful in reducing the overburdened human force by doing tasks like troubleshooting incidents, managing alerts, and offering recommendations for fixes to the systems. The suite comes with highly developed capabilities like GPU monitoring, APM investigator, and AI agent monitoring. All these together can help enterprises lower costs, optimize performance, and detect latency issues.

Mr. Olivier Pommel, CEO & Co-founder at Datadog, stated that "We can all agree that change is happening much faster today with AI than ever before”, he added. “Our job at Datadog is to make sure that you can tame that complexity, that you can get those risks out of the way so that you can happily and productively ride those technology waves all the way to success.” He revealed that Datadog is hugely dedicated to developing rapid AI advancements and investing heavily in R&D for it. An example is their newly launched AI model, TOTO, which was developed for time series analysis by the AI lab of Datadog.

The company also announced its ongoing conversation in partnership with leading AI foundations like OpenAI and Cursor to add more third-party AI agents. Looking at the increasing complexity of AI systems, Datadog is also working on security features and tools like LLM observability that tracks inconsistent LLM behavior and launched Bits AI security analyst for the security of live systems, from unauthorized invasion to alert system handlers, which mitigate further risks and downtime as well.
