Revolutionary Metal Louvers Keep Building Cooler

Aludecor has introduced a new product called Alubreeze. This product is India’s first metal shade sun louver system that is completely designed and made in the country. Also, the sun louvers are structures placed on the outside of buildings that help block direct sunlight and reduce heat entering through the glass. Alubreeze is made from aluminum and comes in different preset angles, 30°, 45°, and 90°, so it can be used in different types of buildings depending on how the sunlight hits the surface.

The main idea behind Alubreeze is to help buildings stay cooler by reducing the amount of heat that comes in through large glass windows or walls. When sunlight hits glass directly, it makes the inside of the building much warmer, especially in hot weather. By placing these metal louvers outside the building, the amount of direct sunshine that enters is reduced. This can help lower the workload on air conditioners and other cooling systems, which often consume a lot of electricity.

Moreover, there is a growing interest in materials and systems that can reduce energy use and help buildings stay comfortable without relying only on machines like air conditioners. Alubreeze is designed with this goal in mind.

According to Towards Chem&Materials, the pre-engineered metal building market size accounted for USD 22.45 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 24.37 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 50.99 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 8.55% from 2026 to 2035, due to the increasing trend towards energy-efficient construction.

Furthermore, the Alubreeze is also made to look good on buildings. Unlike simple shade devices, it adds depth and design interest to otherwise flat glass walls. Also, the aluminum used to make it can be finished in various ways, and the product has coatings that help it stay durable in different climates, such as coastal or desert areas. This means it not only helps with energy efficiency but also adds aesthetic value to building facades.

Also, the important point is that Alubreeze uses recyclable aluminum. Because of this, developers and architects may be able to earn certifications like LEED or GRIHA when they use it in construction projects, which are recognized standards for sustainable building practices.
