Crystal Crop Protection Unveils 6 New Products for 2026 Kharif Season
Crystal Crop Protection has unveiled six new chemicals for the kharif farming season of 2026, which include herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and crop nutrition formulas. The company introduced the following herbicides:
- Samorian (Quizalofop-ethyl 3.6% + Fomesafen 12% + Imazethapyr 7% SC) designed for soybean plants.
- Takuro (Mesotrione 7.5% + Atrazine 60% + Halosulfuron-methyl 3.7% WG) used in maize farms.
The company claims that Samorian is equipped with the ability to reduce grass and weeds in soybean farms. Takuro controls weed growth in maize farms by integrating HPPD, PSII, and ALS techniques.
The company introduced the following 2 fungicides intended to be used in paddy farms:
- MAXentra (Azoxystrobin 18.75% + Tricyclazole 37.5% WG) for overall disease management across multiple stages.
- Xeberia (Validamycin 2.8% + Propiconazole 6% EW) is designed specifically for protecting paddy crops from fungal and bacterial diseases.
The company also announced the launch of an insecticide named Valtruva (Flonicamid 18% + Spirotetramat 13.5% SC) for the protection of cotton crops from pests. This insecticide provides a significant duration of post-spray protection, thus decreasing the frequency of insecticide application on crops.
Crystal Crop Protection has also developed a chemical named KGR-T, which provides essential nutrients to the crops. It consists of natural potash (20%), which has been sourced from Rhodophytes, and natural sulphur (1.5%). This chemical is provided to the plant by using the company’s Extended Nutrient Release (ENR) technology. This product is in the form of tablets which dissolves well in water and form a solution that can be easily absorbed by the plants.

Impact on the Chemical Industry
According to Precedence Research, the launch of these 6 agricultural chemicals is expected to propel the chemical industry towards the use of modern chemical development, manufacturing, and delivery techniques to provide maximum benefit to the crops. This launch opens up new frontiers for various chemical manufacturers to experiment with different formulations and innovative methods of delivery. The successful usage of these chemicals will signal even more farmers that the usage of such chemicals has minimal side effects and will not pose any significant risks to people’s health.
Impact on the Agriculture Fertilizers Market
The global agriculture fertilizers market size accounted for USD 230.84 billion in 2025, and is anticipated to hit USD 239.38 billion by 2026, and is predicted to reach around USD 317.79 billion by 2035, growing at a CAGR of 3.65% from 2025 to 2035.
According to Precedence Research, the launch of these 6 agricultural chemicals is expected to significantly benefit the agriculture fertilizers market, as it boosts the market offerings and scope, leading to wider adoption in a variety of crops. These products provide innovative formulations and forms of delivery that set a benchmark for the overall market for optimizing the efficiency and minimizing the wastage of fertilizers.
The company takes into consideration climate change, changing rain patterns, soil composition variations, and pest resistance to develop modern formulations. This results in excellent efficiency, reliability, and consistency in the usage of various types of fertilizers in farms.
Impact on the Potash Fertilizers Market
The global potash fertilizers market size is calculated at USD 23.11 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 24 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 33.59 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 3.81% from 2026 to 2035.
According to Precedence Research, the potash fertilizers market is set to benefit from the launch of the KGR-T crop nutrition formulation, which contains natural potash. The potash, which is sourced from natural sources, releases nutrients gradually, as opposed to synthetic chemical formulations such as muriate of potash and potassium chloride, which have a higher speed of releasing nutrients.
The natural potash has a less long-lasting impact on soil than synthetic potash, but it has a lower amount of nutrients, which limits its adoption in various crops that need a significant amount of potassium from the soil. The company still used natural potash because it provides good-quality produce in terms of nutrition and color. It also has no harmful impact on groundwater, unlike synthetic potash, which can pollute the groundwater and can cause losses in the long term to the farmers due to degradation in soil and water quality. So, Crystal Crop Protection has provided a new direction to the market in terms of better long-term sustainability and environmental conservation.
