GE HealthCare Unveils AI-Powered Ultrasound Systems to Transform Women’s Health Imaging

GE HealthCare has expanded its women’s health imaging portfolio with the launch of the new Voluson Performance Series, comprising the Voluson Performance 18 and 16 ultrasound systems. These systems are meant to be used to combine the latest imaging features with lean workflow solutions. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation systems to ensure better diagnostic accuracy and efficiency in clinical environments. The Performance Series, developed on the foundation of the Voluson, which has been developed over a long history by GE HealthCare, was created to help clinicians provide high-quality care at a broad range of women's health applications.

The Voluson Performance Series introduces new features, including Auto Live and Shadow Reduction, which automatically adjust gain to achieve optimal image uniformity. The complete probe portfolio also enables versatility, which supports advanced 3D and 2D imaging. This meets the changing needs of gynecology, obstetrics, reproductive medicine, and the overall health of women. To increase flexibility, it can be integrated with wireless Vscan Air probes, which gives the ability to scan a bedside without using large equipment. In addition to its intuitive design, the Voluson Performance Series features the SonoLyst, a high-tech set of artificial intelligence-powered tools capable of detecting fetal anatomy in regular views, labeling it, and measuring it automatically. 

The Voluson Performance Series is not merely an addition to GE HealthCare's product line; it is an enhancement of the company's mission to help women worldwide achieve a healthier future.
