Hexagon, through its subsidiary NovAtel, has introduced GAJT-AE3, a next-generation anti-jamming GNSS receiver that is meant to enhance PNT services in aviation applications. The GAJT-AE3 is intended to ensure that PNT services are not interrupted even when airborne platforms are in environments where signals are interfered with or jammed.

 Anti Jamming Technology

Advanced Anti-Jamming Capabilities

This product features a number of anti-jamming capabilities including adaptive beamforming, which provides robust interference mitigation for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou navigation systems. This feature ensures that airborne systems are capable of detecting and rejecting jamming signals while still providing reliable navigation data. This feature helps the receiver recover quickly from disruptions caused by jamming signals, thus ensuring that aircraft can smoothly operate in enemy airspace.

The global anti jamming GPS market size was calculated at USD 4.35 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 4.58 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 7.35 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 5.38% from 2026 to 2035 as the demand for reliable and secure GPS is rising in the defense, aviation and maritime sector.

Benefits for Aviation and Beyond

According to Hexagon, the GAJT-AE3 is a product developed for mission-critical applications. This product can serve applications that are normally affected by GNSS signals. It is compact in size facilitating the integration with conventional aviation systems without major modifications. The product can serve applications beyond aviation, including unmanned aerial systems that rely on PNT information in adverse conditions.

This launch is a testament to Hexagons’ commitment to the development of resilient GNSS solutions, especially with the rise of signal interference threats around the globe. The rise of the use of GPS technology for both military and civilian applications makes Hexagon a leading company in the development of anti-jamming technology. This technology allows pilots to have confidence in the reliability of navigation information, even under adverse environmental conditions.

With the launch of GAJT-AE3, the aviation industry now has a product that can protect its operations from the rise of electronic disruptions. Analysts believe that the product sets a benchmark for the production of anti jamming technology, which will be crucial in future for further innovation in the development of robust aviation communication solutions.

A recent report by Precedence Research highlights that the anti jamming GPS market is benefiting from increasing threat of signal interference, technological advancements in reliable GPS receivers, and the rising use of autonomous systems.
