This company was co-founded by Jiir Awdir, Ayoub Chouak, and Chihiro Okuyama. Jiir Awdir is the CEO of the company and has a master's degree from the University of St. Gallen and was a former participant in the ICT management trainee program at Swisscom Ventures. He performed tasks such as corporate digitization, supply chain, and venture capital operations. Ayoub Chouak is the CTO of Hoshii and has a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. He did research on security design in his education. Chihiro Okuyama is the Chief AI Officer who handles the AI operations of the company.

The wholesale and manufacturing enterprises' operations involve orders sent in the form of unstructured emails, PDFs, spreadsheets, and audio messages. The name of the product, internal item numbers, measurement units, and file formats vary with respect to the customer. This necessitates the employees to read and detect each order’s content and then look up the customer data, products, input quantity, prices, and delivery information on the ERP system. 

The manual process is time-consuming and also prone to errors in the long term. The AI assistant provided by Hoshii can be embedded in ERP systems to automate order detection, data entry, task management, and order reply. This tool caters to 3 different needs, namely automation, teamwork, and smart operations. It helps to increase the pace and efficiency of operations.
