Also, a growing move towards premium & natural products is impacting the market growth. Eventual efforts will emphasise aesthetic dentistry, premium-natural formulations, e-commerce distribution, & the digital integration of dental care.
Whereas Dr Hamad Al Mudhahka, executive director of the Preventive Health Directorate, said that the campaign forms part of national enforcement to reinforce the connection between oral health & complete health. Further, he stated that older adults show a group needing specialised preventive & educational interventions.
Although the campaign will cover lectures for healthcare professionals to broaden awareness of the significance of oral health in healthy ageing, along with home-based dental examinations leveraging mobile dental units to reach elderly individuals in their homes.
Various activities will be implemented across various locations, such as health centres, Ehsan Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care centres, homes, & inpatient facilities at Hamad Medical Corporation. An exploration of educational videos will also be shared with school students to empower their connection with older adults at home & enhance their understanding of elderly care requirements.
A recent report by Towards Healthcare highlights that the Middle East oral care market is expanding steadily, due to the expanding disposable income & focus on premium products purchasing.
