Korean Firm Reinforces Logistics Infrastructure Investment in Vietnam
The Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) has united the expansion of a smart logistics centre in Long Thanh High-Tech Industrial Park in the southern city of Dong Nai. This highlights the latest development of the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s investment in Vietnam’s logistics infrastructure sector.
This project has explored that it is pioneering with a total investment of 56 billion KRW (41.3 million USD).
The project will facilitate sophisticated solutions across diverse areas.
According to the corporation, the KIND project will provide 10% of the project’s equity to assist in execution. Alongside this, the logistics centre is being established on a 4-hectare site within Amata City Long Thanh, developed by Thailand’s leading industrial estate developer, Amata Corporation. Specifically, this project covers rental factory facilities & modern logistics warehouses. In addition, approximately 70% of the total area will be devoted to refrigerated & frozen storage facilities, positioning the centre as a prominent logistics hub serving rising demand from high-value sectors, including food processing, pharmaceuticals & cold-chain logistics in southern Vietnam.
