Telix and United Imaging Healthcare North America, Inc. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to assess a strategic research collaboration in the United States (U.S.), emphasising the expansion of unified theranostics approaches.

Promotion of Advanced Integrated Approaches & Offerings Across the U.S.

Moreover, they will study the integration of United Imaging’s scanner platforms, software, connectivity & AI capabilities with Telix’s molecular imaging portfolio & validated clinical protocols. This will further demonstrate how a combined solution can propel theranostic workflow efficiencies & standardisation through the enhancement of unification between imaging systems & radiopharmaceutical workflows. Alongside, this will allow continuous, protocol-driven imaging performance across systems & sites, coupled with pushing treatment strategies, monitoring & longitudinal patient management.

About Collaboration

This alliance will aim at TLX101-Px (Pixclara, Floretyrosine F 18) in the U.S, with probable progression into additional sectors, & other Telix products & product entities, governed by mutual agreement. Jeffrey M. Bundy, Ph.D., President & Chief Commercial Officer, United Imaging Healthcare North America, revealed that theranostics shows a basic step toward more unified & tailored cancer care. They are emphasizing that unveiling deeply integrated imaging, AI, & radiopharmaceutical workflows can be merged to support routine clinical use at scale.

According to Towards Healthcare, the U.S. fluoroscopy procedures market is projected to experience significant growth, with estimates suggesting the market size will increase from USD 8.6 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 14.41 billion by 2035, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.9% from 2026 to 2035. The market growth is primarily driven by growing demand for image-guided surgeries & catheter-based interventions, especially in cardiology & orthopaedics, which raises the high use of real-time imaging. The trend is moving towards the migration of fluoroscopy procedures aside from traditional hospitals & into Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs).

U.S. Fluoroscopy Procedures Market Overview

Exploration of Revolutionary Technologies Impacts the Market Expansion

The U.S. fluoroscopy procedures market will have greater and more robust opportunities during the prospective period, covering novel systems, such as AI-guided region-of-interest (ROI) tracking. This will foster automatic reduction of radiation without sacrificing image clarity & will also recognize the safety concerns of long-term occupational radiation exposure for surgeons. On the other hand, the U.S. healthcare system will promote broader integration of modern systems with telemedicine & navigation technology, which will bolster remote consulting alternatives & enable specialists to guide procedures, with enhanced advanced care.

According to Towards Healthcare, the U.S. fluoroscopy procedures market is expected to expand steadily, driven by rising demand for minimally invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, technological advancements in imaging systems, growing surgical volumes, and expanding healthcare infrastructure nationwide.
