Tex Year Group Launches Asias First Compostable Hot Melt Adhesive Line in Taiwan

Tex Year Group has announced an important new development in its sustainability journey. The company has officially launched Asia’s first compostable hot melt adhesive dedicated production line. Furthermore, this new production line is specially built to produce environmentally friendly adhesives that can naturally break down and return to nature. It is part of Tex Year’s effort to support green materials and reduce environmental impact.
Also, this new facility was launched after about five years of preparation. Along with the production line, Tex Year also opened a new Innovation Building at its Taoyuan factory. This building is designed for research, development, and innovation activities. Moreover, many guests from government, industry, and academic sectors attended the opening ceremony to witness this important milestone.
According to Towards Chem&Materials, the polyester hot melt adhesives market size accounted for USD 2.55 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 2.73 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 4.99 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 6.95% from 2026 to 2035, due to the shift towards sustainability.
Also, the newly launched production line is focused on biodegradable hot melt adhesives. These adhesives are made to be more environmentally friendly compared to traditional ones. Moreover, they are produced in a clean and controlled environment using special equipment. The goal is to provide safer and more advanced green adhesive solutions to the market.
