Accenture agreed to acquire SIPAL's integrated product support business based in Italy, aiming to strengthen its capacity in the aerospace and defense sector, specifically for Italian and European clients belonging to the aerospace and defense sector. To ensure operational availability throughout the entire lifecycle of complex systems and products, SIPAL’s Italian IPS business offers robust engineering solutions. These complex systems could be naval vessels or land vehicles. The firm serves leading European aerospace and defense organizations while doing major defense tasks. 

SIPAL’s business, which is intended to be acquired by Accenture, is also a part of a business that offers services for product engineering, industrial and manufacturing engineering along with training and support, which is based in Turin and has several offices across Italy. To develop software-defined solutions and cutting-edge, next-gen integrated systems specially designed for naval vessels, aerostructure and military vehicles, the acquisition will help Accenture offer robust support for organizations in Italy and Europe. It continues a long-term strategy for Accenture to strengthen its portfolio. It reinvents the firm’s engineering and technology innovation capacity to expand and support the ongoing digital transformation of the various industries that play a crucial role in the nation’s growth. Accenture in Italy has completed six strategic acquisitions, including Intellera Consulting, IQT Group, Ammagamma, Fibermind, customer management IT, and SirfinPA.
