ACIST Pro Debuts in Europe, Marking a New Era in Precision Contrast Management for Cardiovascular Imaging
ACIST Medical Systems, Inc. is a subsidiary of Bracco Group and an established pioneer in the development of advanced contrast delivery technologies. The company declared the introduction of the European market of the ACIST Pro Diagnostic System. The next-generation platform will be introduced in the specified European markets after the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) approval of the CE Mark.

The company aimed at improving the accuracy, safety, and workflow of image-guided cardiovascular procedures. The CE Mark certification confirms that the system has been developed to conform to the strict European Union regulations on safety, health, and environmental protection. This further supports its preparation for clinical adoption in the context of the advanced care system.
ACIST Pro was specifically designed for the interventional cardiology setting. This is the first to offer improved control of contrast, where a clinician can vary the parameters of delivery more accurately during an angiographic procedure. The ability is especially noteworthy in complicated cases where there is a strong necessity to reduce the contrast volume, particularly in high-risk patients who have impaired renal conditions.
ACIST Pro is designed to improve the catheterization laboratory workflow. The system enables interventional teams to be more directly procedural strategy-oriented and patient-centered by minimizing manual handling. Furthermore, the ACIST medical systems have been able to lead the pack in cardiovascular imaging through years of experience in automated contrast management.
