Ambrion Introduces New Generation of All-in-One Energy Storage Solutions for Smarter Solar Homes and Businesses
Ambrion, an Australian clean energy technology firm, has recently announced the launch of its latest all-in-one energy storage system, the Eclipse HS3 series. This represents a major advancement in the history of integrated solar and battery systems. The new range is packaged to address the increasing demand for compact, future-ready, and high-performance energy systems. They are being sold through SolarBos, a balance of system supplier based in Victoria. The Eclipse HS3 series is a line of products aimed at residential, commercial, and light industrial customers.

The Eclipse HS3 series was an indication of Ambrion trying to make the deployment of solar-plus-storage easier, increasing the system intelligence and user appeal. The platform comes in single-phase 5 kW and 6 kW options, and the company claims it is a six-in-one plug-and-play modular architecture with three-phase 10 kW and 12 kW options. The system, which has a profile of just 1.7 centimeters, has been designed to be sleek and sexy in addition to being aimed at performance. Other than central energy storage and conversion, the system was designed to accommodate future modular extensions, such as bi-directional electric vehicle charging and HVAC connection.
The single-phase Eclipse HS3 models are optimized to be used in high utilization of rooftop solar. The 5-kW model has a maximum photovoltaic input of 10 kW and the 6 kW 2 max power point trackers (MPPTs) to maximize the energy collection over multiple solar arrays. Each system is combined with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery modules of about 5 kWh, a chemistry that has been generally regarded as thermally stable, safe, and has a long cycle life. The two to eight battery modules allow customers to configure their systems with useful storage capacities of 10 kWh to 40 kWh, with a maximum system efficiency of 97.6.
Ambrion has core design priorities that have been focused on safety. This multi-layered battery safety is also meant to offer peace of mind to homeowners, installers, and insurers. The Eclipse HS3 series is also future-proof beyond hardware. Its public architecture allows extending its functions and upgrades without changing the entire system, minimizing the long-term costs and electronic waste. Furthermore, Ambrion consolidates its market presence in the fast-growing energy storage market with the Eclipse HS3 series.
