In August 2026, BLUE recently launched an AI-native enterprise video infrastructure platform, which is built on what it describes as the world’s first semantic video codec, and has also said it is targeting 10x revenue growth by FY30.

The platform is also designed to help organizations that are managing large-scale CCTV deployments reduce infrastructure costs while making video data searchable and AI-ready. According to the company, the technology can reduce bandwidth consumption by up to 90%, lower video storage costs by up to 10 times, reduce compute requirements for semantic video retrieval by 5-10 times, and cut operational expenses by 30-40%.

The company also said the platform replaces conventional video storage and retrieval approaches by converting surveillance footage into a machine-queryable data layer using AI-native compression, semantic indexing, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

The company said the platform has already been deployed with various companies, including Britannia Industries, Haldiram’s, Connaught Plaza Restaurants (McDonald’s North and East India licensee), and Mumbai Aviation Fuel Farm Facility (MAFFFL)

According to the company, the offering is aimed at sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, fuel retail, and quick-service restaurants, where large-scale video surveillance helps in generating significant storage and infrastructure costs.

Impact on the AI Market

Video AI consists of a range of capabilities that appear in various forms across different domains. Factors include monitoring and safety, anomaly detection, forecasting, simulation-based validation, and, notably, closed-loop systems where models are able to interpret current situations, predict future developments, and also assist in decision-making. AI's role in video infrastructure is quite significant and multifaceted, as it helps in transforming how video content is captured, processed, and delivered. The impact of AI in video generation and video infrastructure is as follows:

  • Enhanced Quality: AI algorithms help to improve video compression ratios while preserving visual clarity, ensuring viewers receive high-definition content.
  • Real-Time Analytics: AI-driven content delivery networks can now analyze content attributes on the fly, adjusting bitrate, resolution, and encoding settings dynamically based on network and device conditions.
  • Personalization: AI also helps in supporting tailored content recommendations, boosting viewer retention, and engagement.
  • Content Moderation: Real-time, auditable moderation has become a legal requirement in today’s day and age, utilizing AI classifiers and human review queues for compliance.
  • Cost Reduction: Deploying AI in video streaming can significantly cut costs related to content creation and operational efficiency.

Impact on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Video Market

The global artificial intelligence (AI) video market size is projected to be worth around USD 156.57 billion by 2034 from USD 10.29 billion in 2024, at a CAGR of 35.33% from 2025 to 2034. The North American artificial intelligence (AI) video market size reached USD 2.74 billion in 2024.

According to Precedence Research, the market is rapidly expanding, driven by advancements in machine learning and computer vision technologies. Evolution in AI technologies can boost market growth even further. Rising Consumer demand for high-quality video content is also expected to drive market growth in the upcoming years. Increasing consumption of internet video content on various video platforms is expected to drive the Artificial Intelligence (AI) video market growth shortly. The rising need for video content in numerous industries, such as e-commerce and education, is also another market driver.

The artificial intelligence (AI) video market tools emphasize offering high-quality and cost-effective services to fulfill consumer demand. Furthermore, educational institutions are using artificial intelligence (AI) video generator tools for efficient teaching. IT and telecommunication market players are utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) video generator tools for converting textual data into video format. The increasing use of social media platforms by businesses to engage with their consumers and establish their brands can drive the growth of the artificial intelligence (AI) video market. Additionally, AI-powered tools are now able to process large amounts of data to draw key insights into customer preferences, which thus helps companies to create content that is specific to their particular needs and interests.

Impact on the Artificial Intelligence Software Market

The global artificial intelligence (AI) software market size was calculated at USD 257.37 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 316.50 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 1,640.51 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 20.35% from 2026 to 2035.

According to Precedence Research, the market growth is driven by high demand for automation through intelligence, investment in AI technologies, and rising implementation of advanced software solutions in industries such as healthcare, BFSI, retail, manufacturing, and IT. The advent of agentic AI, multimodal AI models, and AI copilots is expected to accelerate the market growth rate globally.
