Cardinal Health today launched its multi-parameter single patient use monitoring cable and lead wire systems that allow the continuous monitoring of cardiac activity, blood oxygen level, and temperature at a single point. This device is specifically designed to be carried by the patient from admission to discharge. It provides convenience in clinical workflows with reliable monitoring of the patient to ensure the best treatment and care are provided by the hospital.

It is a single-use product that has reduced the possibility of cross-contamination caused by using reusable lead wires for tracking cardiac activity, blood oxygen levels, and temperature. Due to this, the possibility of infection and re-admission, causing additional hospital days, is significantly reduced with the help of Cardinal Health medical devices.
