Cloudnine and BAPIO Training Academy join hands to support doctors pursuing MRCOG and MRCPCH
In August 2026, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, which is India’s leading premium birthing center, in collaboration with BAPIO (British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin), opened up its applications for the upcoming batches of its UK MRCOG and MRCPCH Sponsorship Program.
As a part of the MoU, Cloudnine Hospital and BAPIO Training Academy will work to strengthen training programs, especially in obstetrics, paediatrics, IVF, and foetal medicine. Cloudnine Hospitals invested in the training of its doctors specializing in maternity, fertility, and paediatrics through these programs. This program is being offered for the first time in India for MRCOG and MRCPCH exams.
This will also enable doctors to take Royal College exams in Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG). It further opens an opportunity to all the MBBS doctors across the country who have been unable to join postgraduate (PG) courses in India to become members of the Royal Colleges of the UK.
The program is particularly relevant for doctors who are seeking to enhance their academic credentials, broaden their clinical perspectives, and pursue internationally recognized pathways in reproductive, maternal, neonatal, and child healthcare.

Impact on the Healthcare Market
Designed for MBBS, MD/MS, and DNB-qualified doctors, the program aims to support aspiring specialists in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics through structured academic training, clinical exposure, and mentorship from experienced clinicians. The initiative is focused on helping doctors pursue globally recognized qualifications while enhancing their clinical expertise and career prospects.
This three-year program also offers participants a unique opportunity to learn from experts, gain hands-on experience, and align their practice with international standards of women’s and child healthcare.
Impact on the Pediatric Healthcare Market
The global pediatric healthcare market size accounted for USD 14.55 billion in 2024 and is predicted to increase from USD 15.77 billion in 2025 to approximately USD 32.48 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 6.52% from 2025 to 2035.
According to Precedence Research, the market is expanding due to rising childhood disease prevalence, increasing demand for specialized treatment, and advances in medical technology, leading to strong growth along with access to quality care for children around the globe. This market is changing quickly due to growing focus on the health of children, the increasing prevalence of chronic childhood conditions such as asthma, obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases, and expansion of pediatric and neonatal intensive care services.
Advancements in technology such as pediatric imaging, telehealth, and drug formulations designed for children are also contributing to changing treatment outcomes. In addition, government initiatives and health organizations are promoting and sponsoring immunization and nutrition exclusively designated for children, which are very rapidly building the pediatric care infrastructure. Increasing healthcare spending and more access and efficiencies in accessing specialized care (such as pediatrics) create a large, steady expansion trajectory for the pediatric healthcare market in developed and developing economies.
Impact on the Mother and Child Healthcare Market
The global mother and child healthcare market size was USD 62.50 billion in 2025 and is projected to increase from USD 66.75 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 120.67 billion by 2035, growing at a CAGR of 6.80% from 2026 to 2035.
According to Precedence Research, the market is rapidly expanding due to the growing awareness of mother and child healthcare and increasing government initiatives aimed at reducing mortality rates and enhancing child safety. Specialized healthcare services presented by key players also driving the market. The market expansion is propelled mainly by increased adoption of prenatal and child health services, growing demand for super-specialty consultations, and technological advancements in fertility treatments like IVF. Services are offered via hospitals, specialized nursing homes/clinics, in-home settings, and expanding digital platforms.
Government programs, such as India's PMMVY, aimed at reducing maternal and infant mortality, are further driving demand for care services. Rising disposable incomes, particularly in urban areas, are boosting demand for childcare services, specialized baby products, and smart, tech-enabled baby care solutions. A growing focus on nutritional supplements for mothers and infants, including prenatal vitamins and micronutrients, is further supporting market expansion.
