The ease and speed of using electric vehicle (EV) charging, whether by normal or eco-friendly drivers, have been significantly improved by a U.S.-based charging innovator. DUEVOLT has announced the introduction of its new portable dual-voltage charging station. This new Level 1 / Level 2 charging device has been designed to be highly compatible with all types of facilities. They offer an end-to-end electrical compatibility specification that includes support of Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) as well as the more common J1772 connector type. Furthermore, with a capacity to support up to 9.6 kW of charging power and an output range of 16A to 40A, the device offers rich flexibility and high performance to EV owners in most places.
Duevolt charger stands out among the rest, is entirely portable, plug-and-play, and requires no permanent wall-mounted location or hardwiring. This means that apartment residents, renters, road trippers, or anyone without a permanent charging infrastructure has access to fixed charging. The machine can be used with either a 120V or 240V system, utilizing standard NEMA 5-15 and 14-50 receptacles, making the device as energy-efficient as possible. The charger is 16 feet long, IP54 water-resistant, and features in-built over-voltage, over-current, over-heat, and short-circuit protection.
The charger also displays the chosen amperage on an LED screen, allowing the user to easily confirm it as they manage the amount of energy they consume, depending on the location, vehicle, or time of day, rates. Its safety record is strengthened with UL and FCC, which offer assurance to its customers concerning its use at home and while traveling. The charger is compatible with nearly every J1772-compliant vehicle, including models from Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Toyota, Jeep, and many others. For Tesla owners, the product comes with an in-built NACS connector, eliminating the need for any additional accessories. Furthermore, the high emphasis on portability, power, and compatibility sets new universal standards in personal EV charging, which DUEVOLT feels are established by the DUEVOLT brand.
