Strengthening Fluorine Access Across Industries

Inhance Technologies has announced that it is now offering a new supply of packaged fluorine and fluorine gas mixtures in the United States. Moreover, this supply will come from its facility located in Catoosa, Oklahoma, where the company has recently expanded its capabilities. Also, this new development is important because it improves the availability of fluorine within the country. It helps industries such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, industrial manufacturing, and specialty chemicals get easier and more reliable access to these materials.

Moreover, the company has many years of experience working with fluorine and related chemical technologies. These materials are used in several important processes, such as cleaning and etching semiconductor equipment, treating plastics and elastomers, and producing different types of fluorochemicals. They are also used in making materials needed for pharmaceuticals and batteries.

Enhancing Supply Security with Local Production

At the Catoosa facility, this new packaged fluorine supply is supported by other advanced capabilities. These include fluorochemical production, performance additives, and purification processes for fluoropolymers. All these help meet the needs of high-performance industries.

The company stated that this new offering is part of its effort to strengthen manufacturing within the United States. By producing fluorine domestically, Inhance Technologies aims to make supply chains more secure, reduce risks related to global sourcing, and make logistics easier for customers. Also, the Prakash Iyer CEO of the company shared that this new supply would give customers more flexibility. It allows them to rely on a U.S. based source instead of depending only on international supply.

According to Towards Chem&Materials, the gas mixtures market size accounted for USD 27.95 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 29.21 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 43.49 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 4.52% from 2026 to 2035, due to increased need in industrial and other applications.

The offering includes packaged fluorine gas, fluorine mixed with inert gases, and custom-made mixtures. These can be designed based on specific customer needs, such as purity levels and process requirements. The company has also ensured that strong safety and quality systems are in place, along with flexible packaging options. Furthermore, fluorine and its mixtures play an important role in many industries.
