Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai has collaborated with AnginaX AI, India’s first licensed artificial intelligence assistant specializing in cardiology operational model. This intends to deploy the model as the first functional AI-based model in the state. The pioneering partnership is designed to transform the model of late-stage cardiac management into early, proactive, and data-driven prevention, which can identify silent cardiovascular hazards well before they cause any symptoms.
The AI-powered initiative becomes a significant one toward digital health innovation to be used in standard clinical practice. AnginaX AI is installed in patient populations of the outpatient departments (OPDs) of Jaslok. The system enables doctors to assess cardiovascular risk in seconds using extensive, evidence-based evaluations. The instant assessments consider more than 20 clinical and lifestyle indicators, offering personalized health advice to every patient and arming both the physician and the patient to make quick and preventive decisions. In a nation where heart disease victims usually do not realize they have it until some life-threatening moment happens, such early detection possibilities are game changers.
There is a cardiovascular crisis in India that is worsening, and heart diseases have been shown to result in approximately 28% of all deaths under the Global Burden of Disease study. This is even aggravated by the fact that most of them are not diagnosed at all until they have sustained serious damage. This endeavor by Jaslok Hospital promises to expedite, simplify, and render convenient the prevention of the disease by initiating AI-based screening at the OPD level, which is the primary point of contact for most patients.
Founder of AnginaX AI, Naman Gosalia, shared a personal note on the origins of the system: “We’ve built an advanced AI medical system that fits seamlessly into any hospital or clinic, helping doctors halt the progression of cardiovascular disease through precision-led risk assessment and personalized treatment recommendations. Our mission is to bring primary prevention to every clinic, every hospital, and every corner of India without disrupting how doctors practice.”
