In May 2026, Medit Corp., a prominent global leader in digital dentistry solutions, announced the establishment of its Global Orthodontic Business Division and the subsequent acquisition of Progressive Orthodontics, a distinguished educational institution in the field of orthodontics, headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California, through its U.S. subsidiary, Medit USA Inc. This strategic expansion into the orthodontic segment represents Medit’s most significant initiative to date, integrating its advanced digital scanning and software capabilities with a widely recognized platform for clinical education.

Under Medit’s ownership, Progressive Orthodontics will continue its prestigious seminar and training programs while expanding its offerings related to SmileStream planning and hardware.
