Myers Industries Starts Scepter Military Packaging in Europe
In July 2026, Myers Industries Inc. announced that its Scepter Business has started the production of military ammunition containers via Scepter International Poland sp z o. o. Scepter uses advanced resin compounds to manufacture proprietary ammunition containers. These containers are used by various NATO countries, and now the production is being done in Europe to cater to the continent’s requirements.
Scepter produces lightweight and reusable polymer packaging that provides a lot of advantages over traditional wood and metal containers. This results in better handling by the soldiers, less transportation payload and supply chain burden, lower fuel consumption, and a reliable alternative to traditional packaging that is also resistant to corrosion.
According to Mike Miller, Business Vice President of Scepter, the start of manufacturing in Europe is an important step forward for Scepter and Myers Industries. He said that the demand for Scepter’s military packaging solutions in Europe is growing in Europe and that regional production places them closer to their customers and enables them to quickly cater to their requirements.
According to Aaron Schapper, President and CEO of Myers Industries, this investment shows the structured approach of the company in capitalizing on long-term growth opportunities. He said that the increase in the presence of the company in Europe will help them further enhance their offerings and ensure consistent growth of their business.

Impact on the Chemical Industry
