It introduced the HermAvoid checkerboard (type 935), a tamper-proof self-adhesive material designed for rough transport of cardboard packaging. The silver-metallised PET material is featured with a concealed tamper-proof pattern on the reverse side that reveals a characteristic checkerboard pattern when removed, making tampering immediately recognisable and preventing label reuse.
