Xsolis, a healthcare AI technology company, introduced Dragonfly Navigate, its new solution for discharge planning and capacity management to help optimize length of stay. This dynamic new workflow solution adds the power of predictive analytics and automated intelligence to clinical settings, enabling hospitals to anticipate patient flow and bed occupancy levels in advance. To take advantage of this launch, West Tennessee Healthcare, a not-for-profit regional system that has been a leading pioneer in digital health partnerships, will be the first to pilot Dragonfly Navigate, which builds upon its already strategic partnership with Xsolis.
Dragonfly Navigate is the third product solution in the Xsolis Dragonfly family and incorporates a more holistic and AI-integrated discharge planning solution. Contrary to traditional systems, which tend to run outside or outside the normal workflow of the clinician or require manual tracking. Dragonfly Navigate is fully integrated into the daily flow of the care team, updating, alerting, and creating insight in real-time as a patient proceeds through their patient pathway.
The proprietary AI models fuelling Dragonfly Navigate perform advanced prediction of discharge date and disposition at early stages of the patient encounter. Such a prediction helps employees to envision difficulties and improve the flow of care. Furthermore, the AI-powered, automated processes notify the user about possible issues with potential conflicts or new discharge opportunities existing in an ever-changing environment, with staff always being informed about alternative intelligent recommendations made. The active practice radically enhances care team coordination, reduces superfluous processes, and promotes more rapid and safer discharges.
Speaking on the broader impact of the launch, Joan Butters, CEO and co-founder of Xsolis, shared: “Length of stay is the next frontier for bringing our customers significant savings. We have listened to their needs and are excited to deliver a more seamless workflow solution with Dragonfly Navigate, which builds on the success of our previous products to drive length of stay improvements.” Butters emphasized that the new platform is the result of years of collaboration, customer feedback, and continuous investment in AI and clinical intelligence.
