Eaton and ChargePoint Debut Cutting-Edge Ultrafast DC V2X Chargers and Power Infrastructure

Eaton, the leading power management company in the world, and ChargePoint, one of the world's leading providers of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems. They have stated that they are collaborating in a revolutionary partnership to introduce an ultrafast electric vehicle (EV) charging architecture. This encompasses the entire power infrastructure, including both charging hubs and fleet support. This new grid, known as ChargePoint Express Grid - powered by Eaton, offers a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) capable platform. These provide up to 600kW of power to passenger vehicles and also charge heavy-duty commercial applications, such as trucks and buses, at megawatt levels of power.

Express Grid is released at a crucial point in the energy transformation of the world as EVs gain momentum and governments, corporations, and individuals push to find a way of charging that is both quicker and more dependable. The new Express Grid, unlike traditional DC fast chargers, is a union of Eaton's experience with end-to-end electrical infrastructure and ChargePoint's expertise in the best charging hardware and software. The combination of the two aids in breaking grid bottlenecks that have historically impeded the quick rollout of EV charging.

ChargePoint Express Grid will be launched publicly at the RE+ trade show in Las Vegas, where Eaton will be demonstrating its diverse capabilities in the field of electrification and energy transition.
