Envision Launches “Dubhe” Technology to Power the World’s First Large-Scale AI Energy System

Envision, a green technology and intelligent energy solutions global leader, has introduced Dubhe, a new generation Energy Foundation Model. This aims to be the heart of intelligence of what the company describes as the world’s largest Physical AI-based energy system. The introduction is an important move toward reinventing the concept of the way renewable energy systems are created, operated, and accelerated in the era of artificial intelligence. Envision plans to address the growing pressure on global power networks resulting from digital transformation and AI workloads.
Dubhe acts as a decision-maker regarding complex energy systems. It coordinates wind farms, solar plants, energy storage systems, and grid infrastructure as an integrated network of intelligence, as opposed to isolated assets. This real-time coordination allows for the utilization of renewable resources on a scale never before seen without impacting system stability or making it cost-effective.
With the increasing adoption of Artificial Intelligence in industries, including data centers and autonomous systems, energy demands are skyrocketing. According to the agreement, Masdar acknowledges Envision as a strategic partner in some of the major sectors of renewable energy, such as wind, energy storage, and green hydrogen. The collaboration highlights a common sense of the need to redefine the way energy infrastructure is designed and run at scale. Furthermore, Envision envisions Dubhe to be the driver of a new era of energy abundance, when renewable energy is not only cheap but also scalable and affordable everywhere.
