In September 2026, Envista, a global dental player, launched Kerr Consumables in India. It expands its presence into the general dental consumables market. Envista has been in India for more than 20 years. It had also introduced Nobel Biocare in 2004 and has since expanded into implants, orthodontics, clear aligners and dental imaging.
The launch of Kerr in India comes during the brand’s landmark 135th anniversary year, which underscores its long-standing legacy of quality, clinical excellence and innovation. With a focus on restorative and endodontic dentistry, Kerr will help to support Indian dental professionals and institutions through evidence-based solutions, hands-on workshops and continuing education. Its restorative and endodontic portfolio is backed by decades of clinical experience and continuous innovation.
Envista also stated that it cannot have a successful future without having a strong presence in the major markets, including North America, Europe, China and India. He added that the company needs to continue investing in India. Keel said India is important to Envista not just as a market, but also for its clinical and technology capabilities.
The company will also focus on strengthening its presence across key dental markets, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, through greater clinician engagement. As part of this effort, Envista plans to conduct a multi-city roadshow featuring international experts following the launch, aimed at expanding clinical engagement and supporting continuing education among dental professionals across India.
