Ferrari Amalfi Spider With a V8 Biturbo Engine Unveiled in Malaysia

In September 2026, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider launched in Malaysia, with its premiere taking place in Kuala Lumpur, hosted by Ital Auto. The car made its way into the ASEAN region in March 2026, but its convertible variant made its debut with this launch in Malaysia. The car is 4,660 mm in length, 1,974 mm in width, and 1,305 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2,670 mm long, and it has a soft-top V8 2+2 configuration. This makes it pretty closely related to the Ferrari Roma Spider.

The design and dimensions of the car resemble those of a coupe and have a minimal front fascia. It also features a floating wing, which has the same color as the body and is placed above a dark, slim band with sensors and headlights contained in it. The soft top in this car opens in 13.5 seconds and can be operated while driving at speeds up to 60 kmph. The roof has a Z-fold kinematic system and consists of 5 layers of fabric. The company claims that it provides the same level of soundproofing and heat insulation as that of a retractable hardtop.

The Amalfi Spider comes with an F154 BH 3.9-liter biturbo V8 engine that puts out 631 horsepower at 7,500 rpm. The maximum torque that the engine provides is 760 Nm, which is available in the range of 3,000 to 5,750 Nm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through an updated 8-speed Magna wet dual-clutch transmission, which made its debut in the SF90 Stradale.

This car features a multi-function steering wheel and has physical buttons instead of haptic controls. It has a new HMI, a 15.6-inch digital instrument display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, and an 8.8-inch slim passenger screen, which comes as an optional feature. It also has an active rear aero with 3 configurations, namely: Low Drag, Medium Downforce, and High Downforce.
