In August 2026, GE Healthcare introduced 2 new offerings in the LOGIQ e ecosystem, which include LOGIQ e X and LOGIQ e S, which are compact laptop ultrasound systems that enable healthcare personnel to provide straightforward and rapid ultrasound imaging. These systems inherit the heritage of the LOGIQ e ecosystem, as it is equipped with performance that matches the standard of consoles, along with a compact design and AI capabilities.

These systems have features that make them portable and flexible even outside conventional healthcare environments. According to Karley Yoder, CEO, Ultrasound Solutions, Advanced Imaging Solutions, GE HealthCare, the way in which healthcare is delivered is undergoing a significant transformation, and imaging techniques also need to keep up with the pace. She also said that the LOGIQ e ecosystem assists them in providing healthcare solutions that maintain a balance between portability and quality.

The LOGIQ e ecosystem finds applications in multi-purpose imaging, musculoskeletal treatments, emergency care, rheumatology, and anesthesiology. LOGIQ e X has AI-based tools, next-generation imaging technologies, and feature which improve operations. LOGIQ e S offers foundational imaging features in a reliable platform at a lower cost than LOGIQ e X. The LOGIQ e ecosystem also offers process tools such as Scan Assistant and Voice Control, which help to decrease manual tasks and improve efficiency.

LOGIQ e X is equipped with AI capabilities that help medical professionals to generate images and improve process efficiency during the tests. The features include:

  • Nerveblox: It labels anatomical locations in the ultrasound image, which eases the work of the healthcare staff during the peripheral nerve block process.
  • MSK Go: It helps the clinicians to perform musculoskeletal ultrasound tests as it detects anatomical structures on the ultrasound images.

Impact on the Healthcare Industry

According to Precedence Research, the launch of the LOGIQ e X and LOGIQ e S is expected to positively impact the healthcare industry as it increases the pace and efficiency of ultrasound imaging. These systems are also equipped with AI features that automate various arduous operations and decrease the burden on clinicians.

They have enhanced portability and also maintain minimal deviation in performance across various settings, even beyond the conventional medical environment. This is a useful feature as it boosts its adoption in a wide range of settings, including remote areas where sophisticated medical facilities are not present.

Impact on the Ultrasound Devices Market

The global ultrasound devices market size is estimated at USD 13.36 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 14.47 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 29.47 billion by 2035, representing a CAGR of 8.23% from 2026 to 2035.

According to Precedence Research, the introduction of the LOGIQ e X and LOGIQ e S compact ultrasound systems is expected to benefit the ultrasound devices market. This owing to the fact that these devices use pioneering automation and imaging technologies that set the benchmark for next-generation imaging platforms.

The company has introduced 2 variants, one of which is loaded with advanced features, and the other brings affordability, but still maintains the reliability and quality of ultrasound imaging. This will help it to be adopted in a wide range of clinical settings, according to their budget and medical requirements.

Impact on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) In Ultrasound Imaging Market

The global artificial intelligence (AI) in ultrasound imaging market size is calculated at USD 1.12 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 1.22 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 2.52 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 8.45% from 2026 to 2035.

According to Precedence Research, the launch of the LOGIQ e X and LOGIQ e S compact ultrasound systems is expected to positively impact the artificial intelligence (AI) in ultrasound imaging market. This is because it adopts AI technologies for a variety of tasks in the ultrasound imaging workflows. This development comes at a time when the burden on clinicians is increasing due to a rising number of patients, and AI helps them to automate certain time-consuming tasks. This allows healthcare personnel to focus on more critical tasks to deliver better treatment to the patients.
