Health-E Commerce Expands Beyond E-Commerce with Launch of Patiently Telehealth Platform Offering Personalized, FSA/HSA Eligible Weight Loss and Menopause Support

Patiently delivers on the health-e commerce promise of supporting FSA/HSA participants to maximize their advantages through vetted and guaranteed qualified products and solutions.

Health-E Commerce, parent brand to FSA Store and HSA Store, the first and leading online stores dedicated solely to selling FSA and HSA eligible products and services, announced the launch of their novel telehealth platform Patiently. Marking the organization's first fully owned virtual care experience, patiently builds on the health-eCommerce promise of supporting FSA/HSA participants to do more with their funds by allowing access to targeted treatment by licensed providers, all from the comfort of home.

Patiently launches with two of the fastest-growing telehealth categories: GLP-1s for medical weight loss and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for perimenopause and menopause support. By integrating with FSA Store and HSA Store, patiently brings the entire health journey into one ecosystem. This allows a more seamless, targeted patient experience from prescriptions to helping products optimized for both the patient's healthcare requirements and their FSA/HSA funds.

"Patiently brings together virtual care, prescriptions and FSA/HSA eligible products in one seamless experience," said Vik Panda, Chief Digital Health Officer at Health-E Commerce. "Consumers already trust our platforms to help them make the most of their FSA and HSA benefits. Patiently builds on that trust by making it simple to access targeted care while seamlessly connecting management with FSA/HSA qualified products.

Weight Loss: Patiently provides medical weight-loss services for FSA and HSA account holders, offering patients targeted access to a full suite of GLP-1 management choices when medical care is appropriate.

Menopause Support: Patiently introduces menopause care with a range of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) options for FSA and HSA account holders. Prescription management includes oral medications and topical creams, which provide relief for symptoms at each stage of menopause.

The launch of Patiently marks the next advancement of health e-commerce and the rising role the organization plays in consumer health, integrating more than a decade of expertise in pre-tax advantages with novel ways for patients to directly access care from home. As the platform increases, the organization plans to add novel care categories and management choices as part of a mission to support consumers to get the most value out of their FSA and HSA investments.

Telehealth Market Key Highlights

About Health-E Commerce

Health-E Commerce is the parent brand to FSA Store and HSA Store, online stores that serve the 70+ million customers enrolled in pre-tax health and healthcare accounts. The organization created Caring Mill, a popular private-label line of health products through which a portion of every purchase is donated to the Children's Health Fund. Since 2010, the health-e commerce brands have led the direct-to-consumer e-commerce market for exclusively pre-tax health and wellness benefits. Health-E Commerce plays an important role in increasing product eligibility for significant novel categories in the list of suitable medical expenses.

A recent report by Towards Healthcare highlights that the telehealth market is growing as telehealth offers access to resources and care for patients in rural regions or areas with provider limitations, enhances effectiveness without higher net expenses, lowers patient travel and wait times, and enables comparable or enhanced quality of care.  Telehealth technologies are being accepted and implemented as an efficient and affordable means for delivering and accessing quality health care solutions and results. Telemedicine has the strength to reduce American health care spending by decreasing challenges such as medication misuse, unnecessary emergency department visits, and protracted hospitalizations.
