In August 2026, Nozomi Networks and Sophos recently announced an integration between Nozomi Networks Vantage, a cloud-native, AI-enabled OT security platform, and Sophos Fusion, an AI-native cybersecurity defense system, in order to help improve visibility and threat detection across IT and OT environments.

The integration is aimed at addressing security challenges arising as organizations connect more industrial assets and adopt remote management capabilities. Critical infrastructure is increasingly targeted by both nation-state actors and cybercriminals, while compromises originating in IT environments can lead to OT outages.

This partnership brings Nozomi Networks’ OT telemetry, asset intelligence and threat data into Sophos Fusion, where it can be correlated with security data from across IT environments. This enables security teams to access OT intelligence within their existing investigation workflows without switching between separate security consoles.

The partnership will also enable the correlation of security data across OT, endpoint, network, cloud and identity sources. It is also designed to provide greater context during investigations, reduce manual processes and support automated enrichment and response through Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) workflows. The companies also stated that the integration is among the first major third-party technology integrations following the launch of Sophos Fusion, reflecting its focus on integrating security technologies into a unified defense system.

Impact on the AI Market

Critical infrastructure is facing an aggressive threat landscape as both nation states and cybercriminals increasingly target OT and industrial environments, and many OT outages begin with a compromise of the IT environment. As organizations connect more industrial assets and adopt remote management capabilities, complete visibility across both IT and OT environments becomes increasingly important.

This integration brings Nozomi’s OT telemetry, asset intelligence, and threat data directly into Sophos Fusion, where it can be correlated with security data from across the customer’s IT environment without switching contexts. This also puts OT intelligence where investigations happen, helping security teams work faster and make better decisions.

Key benefits of the partnership include:

  • Security data correlation across OT, endpoint, network, cloud, and identity sources
  • Improved investigation quality through richer context and correlation
  • Greater SOC efficiency through fewer manual processes and less console switching
  • Automated enrichment and response through Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) workflows

Impact on the Cybersecurity Services Market

The global cybersecurity services market size is estimated at USD 177.27 billion in 2025 and predicted to increase from USD 188.66 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 328.32 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 6.36% from 2026 to 2035.

According to Precedence Research, the government and private sectors are spending large amounts on cybersecurity systems to prevent cyber risks. Cybersecurity services secure confidential data from BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, and government sectors. Instances of cyber threats are rising continuously, raising concerns among businesses. As cyber threats are becoming more and more sophisticated, businesses are actively choosing well-developed security systems.

The use of artificial intelligence is also helping cybersecurity companies address new security risks. Artificial intelligence (AI) allows quick analysis of a lot of data so that anomalies can be noticed shortly after they occur. Thanks to predictions, the organization can act fast and prevent damage or loss. The growing number and difficulty of cyber threats encourage businesses to rely more on AI to avoid data breaches and stay in line with stringent regulations.

Impact on the AI in Cybersecurity Market

The global artificial intelligence (AI) in cybersecurity market size accounted for USD 29.64 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 35.40 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 167.77 billion by 2035, representing a CAGR of 18.93% from 2026 to 2035.

According to Precedence Research, several cybercriminal enterprises have already invested in automation, machine learning, and AI to introduce large-scale, directed cyberattacks against companies as the number of threats and the risk of ransomware attacks continue to increase all over the world. The growing number of cyberattacks targeting high-tech firms, defense organizations, and government agencies further highlights the demand for sophisticated AI-driven solutions. Such advancements aim to address evolving challenges in securing sensitive data and critical infrastructure.

AI also plays a vital role in the market by facilitating the proliferation of 5G technology and the rising demand for cloud-based security solutions among small and medium-sized organizations. Artificial intelligence in cybersecurity is currently gaining popularity to secure information. Because end users are anticipated to embrace AI in cybersecurity to address security concerns and spot new types of assaults that can occur at any time, the market for artificial intelligence in cybersecurity is growing quite steadily.

Expert Opinion

Matt Cowell, Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Nozomi Networks, said,

“The intersection of IT and OT environments has long been misunderstood by the cybersecurity industry, leading to inefficiencies and potential danger for critical infrastructure. This partnership helps solve these problems by seamlessly integrating OT intelligence into IT security investigations, so teams have the full picture when assessing their increasingly expanding attack surface.”
