Boson Cell, India’s first homemade lithium cell maker, has made a big leap by launching two impressive lithium energy storage products, including the 18350 B-30A and 21700 B-50A. This step is important for India’s efforts to become energy-independent and self-sufficient in technology under Atmanirbhar Bharat.
With its strong durability, better efficiency, and production in India, Boson Cell is shaping the country’s growth in electric mobility, drones, and renewable energy. The goal of the company is to cut back on foreign battery components, helping make the country’s power supply more affordable and greener.
Boson’s new energy storage options are available in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh, and they are expected to arrive in other states by the end of 2025. The company is joining forces with the $9.56 billion Indian battery and the $13 billion drone sector, both of which are ready to see tremendous growth during this decade.
Guru Punghavan, CEO, Boson Cell
“Boson is more than just a manufacturer. We’re building the energy backbone for India’s future, one cell at a time. Our technology is designed to serve everyone from drone operators to EV users to solar households delivering safety, performance, and scale.”
