Broadcom Launches First 6G Digital Front-End SoC for Massive MIMO

Broadcom Inc. has introduced BroadPeak™, an innovative CMOS radio digital front-end (DFE) SoC device, designed to enhance 5G and 6G networks. This highly integrated device facilitates substantial advancements in massive MIMO and remote radio head applications, employing a 5nm CMOS architecture that decreases power consumption by as much as 40% in comparison to existing solutions. With an operational frequency range spanning from 400 MHz to 8.5 GHz, BroadPeak represents a significant achievement as the first genuine product that complies with 5G Advanced and 6G standards for these applications.
