The O1 Omni Printer an all-in-one desktop printing device made to work with a variety of rigid and flexible materials is now available for pre order in Australia according to xTool. The product according to the business is a new category of hardware that integrates many printing technologies into a single desktop ecosystem.

UV direct to garment direct to film and UV DTF printing technologies are all integrated in the O1 Omni/ in addition to supporting UV DTF transfer decals and clothing modification. It is intended for applications involving materials including wood, acrylic, glass, and metal.

Impact on ICT Industry

By integrating cutting edge software scanning computer vision and automated printing capabilities into a desktop production system, the launch may improve the relationship between ICT and digital manufacturing. The O1 Omni helps customers transition from digital designs to tangible items more quickly by fusing hardware with an AI-driven software ecosystem that includes a Pixel Scan Vision System and AI contort recognition.

This trend is in line with the Precedence Research 3D Printing Market which falls under ICT and includes desktop and industrial 3D printing along with hardware software and services. According to the research, software plays a significant role in the market and there is an increasing need for scanning software that can record physical things and facilitate their digital replication.

The growing integration of intelligent software with printing hardware could create opportunities for technology companies developing design platforms scanning solutions printer control software computer vision technologies and digital production workflows as printing equipment becomes increasingly software driven ICT capabilities are likely to play a greater role in improving automation and usability.

The launch could also support the broader digitalization of small-scale production. Designers and businesses can use digitally controlled equipment to transform digital artwork into customized physical products, reducing the need for multiple specialized production systems.

The development further reflects the growing convergence of hardware and software within digital manufacturing. Precedence Research identifies hardware software and services as core components of the 3D Printing Market, highlighting the importance of technology ecosystems rather than standalone printing equipment.

Impact on the 3D Printing Market

The global 3D printing market size was estimated at USD 29.29 billion in 2025 and is predicted to increase from USD 34.85 billion in 2026 to approximately USD 152.72 billion by 2035, expanding at a CAGR of 17.96% from 2026 to 2035.

The O1 Omnis multifunctional desktop format is relevant to the 3D Printing Marekt, particularly its desktop 3D printing segment. Desktop 3D printing is one of the markets main verticals according to Precedence Research which also observes that its use is expanding in fields including education, fashion and jewelry items dentistry applications and other creative uses.

The O1 Omni desktop-oriented design mirrors the wider trend toward accessible digital manufacturing technologies even if its primary purpose is multi material surface and fabric printing rather than traditional additive 3D printing. Smaller company's designers manufacturing and educational users can embrace modern manufacturing capabilities without only depending on massive industrial equipment thanks to compact solutions.

More experimentation with small batches and customized production may result from this freedom. Companies could be able to increase the range of products they offer while decreasing the requirement to buy separate equipment for various printing applications.

According to Precedence Research, the market for desktop 3D printing is expanding due to rising digitalization and the need for easily accessible production technology. This more general trend toward localized and digitally managed production may be facilitated by the growth of multipurpose desktop systems.

Impact on Digital Printing Market

The global digital printing market size was accounted for USD 30.22 billion in 2024, and is expected to reach around USD 59.93 billion by 2034, expanding at a CAGR of 7.09% from 2025 to 2035.

The O1 Omni demonstrates how software and intelligent automation are becoming increasingly important in contemporary printing systems. Its Pixel Scan Vision System facilitates automated scanning and alignment, and its xTool Studio software ecosystem includes AI contour recognition a laser to UV workflow a texture library and a 3D generator.

These features show how software based workflows are becoming more and more important in digital printing. Users can rely on scanning automated recognition alignment and digital design tools to get things ready for printing rather than requiring a lot of human preparation.

Precedence Research identifies design software printer software scanning software and inspection software within the software component of the 3D Printing Market. The report also notes that software is expected to grow rapidly as businesses increasingly use digital tools to develop products and part for printing

The growing integration of software with printing equipment could therefore create opportunities for companies developing AI assisted design tools, scanning technologies, printer management platforms and digital manufacturing applications.

The shift toward software enabled printing may also make advanced production technologies more accessible to users without extensive technical expertise. Simplified digital workflows can help small businesses and individual creators move from concept to finished product with fewer manual processes.

Impact on Customized Manufacturing Market

Customized consumer items clothing promotional stuff personalized gifts packaging and creative goods could all benefit from the O1 Omni. Because it can print on a variety of materials and surfaces, users have more options when creating personalized products.

A multipurpose system could allow small forms to offer a wider variety of products without needing separate machines for each printing process. Customized items of clothing stickers packaging presents and other artistic things can be created by designers and manufacturers using the systems.

Additionally, the product has features that make production easier. Its software-based processes automated scanning AI contour recognition and focusing features can minimize the need for manual alignment and setup. This could support the growth of on demand and small batch manufacturing where businesses produce products according to individual customer requirements rather than maintaining large inventories.

The broader 3D printing market is also being influenced by demand for customized products and digital manufacturing. As businesses increasingly seek flexible production methods, technologies that combine digital with physical manufacturing could become more valuable across creative and commercial applications.
