Zeekr 7X Brings ‘Golden Battery’ Luxury EV to NZ

New Zealand’s electric vehicle market has just welcomed a significant new entrant with the official launch of the Zeekr 7X SUV by NordEast, the local distributor for the Chinese premium EV brand. Zeekr, a prestigious and performance-oriented subsidiary of Geely Group, is already famous in the world with its innovative way of mobility. The 7X is added to the existing Zeekr local range at NordEast, complementing the Zeekr X (compact) and the Zeekr 009 (ultra-luxury) people mover. The 7X, the hero model of the brand in New Zealand, will combine the latest technology, an impressive driving range, and a price strategy that makes it the most competitive in the premium EV segment.

The 7X utilizes Zeekr technology, featuring a golden battery that is architected at 800V and capable of being charged at up to 450kW. This design is forward-thinking and shows that Zeekr has a global vision of reimagining what consumers should anticipate when owning electric vehicles, integrating high-tech engineering with practical ownership advantages. The model will be offered in three levels: the entry-level RWD for $69,990, the Long-Range model at $79,990, and the high-performance AWD Performance editions at 94,990.
