In September 2026, Zendure and Joybuy announced a joint venture to make clean AI-based energy storage easily accessible to German homes. In this collaboration, Joybuy will contribute its SolarFlow 2400 AC storage bundle on its German platform, with provisions for same-day and next-day delivery.

This joint venture brings together plug-in, retrofit-ready home battery technology from Zendure and a retail platform and a self-operational logistics ecosystem by Joybuy. Joybuy offers a comprehensive platform, with products from prominent global, European, and regional companies, available in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. This partnership resolves 2 significant obstacles in retrofitting current solar systems: the complexity of storage installation and long delivery durations.

The core of the announcement is the SolarFlow 2400 AC, which is an AC-coupled retrofit system provided by Zendure for houses that already have a rooftop PV system. It enables the use of battery storage that does not require any DC rewiring, has an easy installation process, and can be used with prominent inverter brands that have been conventionally fitted on European roofs, such as SMA, Huawei, Fronius, Enphase, SolarEdge, and Sungrow. It offers 2,400 Watt AC input and output and a maximum of 90 percent round-trip efficiency. It stores excess unused solar energy during the day and releases it in the evening.
