The new set of the MaxiCharger AC Single version has been officially launched in the U.S. by Autel Energy. This has been a significant milestone in the history of commercially scalable electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The most recent model of the AC charger is already equipped with the Nayax Uno Mini payment system. They help vehicle drivers to pay at the charger through a credit or debit card- without downloading any mobile applications, registering, or using other third-party sites.

The new configuration is tailored to large-scale deployments in various environments and can substantially reduce the barriers to EV charging adoption by the operators and end users. This announcement is based on the strategic alliance of Autel Energy and Nayax, which was initially announced in August 2025. Both companies agreed to incorporate the innovative payment technologies of Nayax into Autel international EV charging offering.

The collaboration aims at implementing payment-enabling solutions on a minimum of 100,000 Autel chargers that are set to be rolled out in North America and Europe by 2026. This joint vision of scalable and commercially viable EV charging infrastructure has so far produced one of the most concrete products of that partnership, the factory-integrated MaxiCharger AC Single introduced by the U.S.

The embedded payment terminal with Nayax Uno Mini is one of the main additions to the new setup. Autel will help site owners to achieve instant monetization of charging assets and provide a simple, user-friendly experience for the drivers. This is most likely a crucial part of the public charging satisfaction and utilization rates.

Another fundamental area of interest of MaxiCharger AC Single is operational efficiency. The charger is compatible with Autel in its digital platform and offers real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and maintenance features using Autel operations and maintenance tools, such as digital twin technology. Furthermore, the new MaxiCharger AC Single will place Autel in a position to ride this wave by providing a solution that heralds openness, reliability, and convenience of use on a larger scale.
