Salesforce, Anthropic partner to deliver Claudeforce
In August 2026, Salesforce and Anthropic announced Claudeforce, an expanded strategic partnership that will help connect Anthropic’s Claude with Salesforce’s enterprise data, workflows, business rules, and governance capabilities. The partnership launched with Salesforce in Claude, a plugin featuring 37 prebuilt sales skills. The companies also said the capabilities will allow sellers and agents to work with live revenue information, update pipelines and take actions through Salesforce from within Claude. The companies also planned to expand the integration across Claude, Salesforce and Slack.
Administrators connect Salesforce in Claude once, with authentication and permissions managed centrally, according to the companies. The partnership also extends in the other direction, with Claude available within Salesforce. Claude is being used as a reasoning model for the Atlas Reasoning Engine and is available in Agent Builder, while also powering Agentforce Vibes and Agentforce Coworker by default.
Through Amazon Bedrock, Claude is also available within the Salesforce Trust Boundary, which the companies said allows customers, including regulated organizations, to deploy domain-specific AI while keeping data and AI workloads within the boundary. Slack is another part of the expanded arrangement. Claude is the default model for Slack and is being used across Slackbot, Claude Tag and Slack Code. The companies said the integration is intended to connect conversations and decision-making in Slack with actions carried out through Salesforce.
The relationship also includes reciprocal adoption. Salesforce is using Anthropic’s Claude across several internal and customer-facing applications, while Salesforce is Anthropic’s preferred CRM and Slack is its preferred multiplayer work platform for internal teams.

Impact on the AI Market
Salesforce said Salesforce in Claude is enabled by AIforce, which is its enterprise framework for connecting business data and workflows to AI agents through MCP servers, APIs and CLI tools. The arrangement is intended to allow Claude to work with Salesforce information while actions continue to be governed by Salesforce’s existing business rules. The initial sales capabilities include meeting preparation, deal-health reviews and pipeline reviews. Salesforce and Anthropic said the system can use information from Salesforce, Slack and other connected sources to generate a tailored dashboard containing accounts, pipeline information and other live data.
According to Stokes, Salesforce users are seen increasingly leveraging Claudeforce in order to vibe code their own CRM interfaces, creating purpose-built command centers for how they want to run their teams. They have also been using it extensively for forecasting purposes.
