Kaleris Unveils Smarter Cold Chain Orchestration at Manifest 2026
Kaleris has developed ColdLink which is used to manage sensitive products like grocery and pharmaceuticals. ColdLink was unveiled at Manifest 2026, which is a global supply chain and logistics event held in Las Vegas. This event saw the presence of various prominent supply chain logistics companies such as Interlake Mecalux, Blecon, Exotec, Infios and BEUMER Group. This product links yard, transportation and warehouse systems to protect cold loads during both storage and transportation. It connects IoT sensors to software that runs in real time. This system tracks reefer temperatures, fuel and load priority during transportation from the yard to the road.

When a cold truck drives in, ColdLink’s software continuously checks sensor information and detects if a priority cold load shows a rise in temperature or low fuel. This product intends to transform the cold chain logistics market from “first in, first out” to “first expiring, first out” to ensure product quality. ColdLink will also be able to take into account pre-cooling needs of respective cold loads. It makes sure that a trailer is at the right temperature before it is filled. It avoids mixing incompatible goods, such as ethylene producing fruits with vegetables.
Another integral component of ColdLink is the concept of inbound-outbound continuity. This product establishes continuity between outbound shipments and inbound pick-ups. This avoids empty reefer shipments and maintains refrigerated control. Kaleris claims its system, ColdLink allows for the reduction of waste, margin optimization and improved shelf products availability. They also claim enhanced chain-of-custody documentation and compliance for refrigerated products. This launch highlights increasing emphasis in the industry on visibility and automation in cold chain logistics market.
